Paste ingredient lines

Use quantity | unit | ingredient on each line. Units: g, kg, ml, L, cup, tbsp, tsp, piece.

Units stay unchanged when scaling a recipe. Fractional eggs and very small quantities may need weighing.

How it works

Start with your original recipe and the servings you need. Change ingredient quantities, paste a structured ingredient list, or compare pan sizes before adjusting the recipe. Your work stays in this browser. Use a kitchen scale when precision matters, especially for baking. A recipe for four people becomes ten servings with a multiplier of 2.5. Two cups of flour become five cups; 3/4 cup of sugar becomes 1 7/8 cups. Units stay as entered. Adjust salt, spices and leavening thoughtfully, and weigh partial eggs when needed.

Frequently asked questions

Where is my recipe saved?

Only in local storage in this browser. There is no account, upload or cross-device synchronization. Clearing browser data removes the saved recipe.

Does scaling change the units?

No. The recipe scaler preserves each ingredient unit. Use the separate ingredient converter when you need a volume-to-weight estimate.

Can I use the pan multiplier to calculate baking time?

No. Pan material, shape, oven behavior and the recipe affect baking. The multiplier compares batter volume at equal depth only.
