How it works
Choose the ingredient before converting: flour and sugar do not weigh the same per cup. Select an input and output unit, then enter the quantity. Reference values use a US cup of 236.588 mL. A metric cup is 250 mL; US tablespoons and teaspoons are 1/16 and 1/48 of a US cup. The custom option accepts grams per US cup from your own measurement.
Example
Two US cups of all-purpose flour use a 120 g-per-cup reference and give 240 g. Two US cups of granulated sugar use 198 g per cup and give 396 g. These are estimates: packing, sifting, moisture and measuring technique affect the actual weight.

Frequently asked questions
Where is my recipe saved?
Only in local storage in this browser. There is no account, upload or cross-device synchronization. Clearing browser data removes the saved recipe.
Does scaling change the units?
No. The recipe scaler preserves each ingredient unit. Use the separate ingredient converter when you need a volume-to-weight estimate.
Can I use the pan multiplier to calculate baking time?
No. Pan material, shape, oven behavior and the recipe affect baking. The multiplier compares batter volume at equal depth only.
