How it works
Enter the original and desired servings. Each ingredient is multiplied by desired servings divided by original servings. Enter decimals, simple fractions such as 1/2, or mixed fractions such as 1 1/2. Change ingredient names and units directly, or paste one ingredient per line using the displayed format. Fraction mode marks approximate results with ≈; the CSV keeps decimal precision.
Example
A recipe for four people becomes ten servings with a multiplier of 2.5. Two cups of flour become five cups; 3/4 cup of sugar becomes 1 7/8 cups. Units stay as entered. Adjust salt, spices and leavening thoughtfully, and weigh partial eggs when needed.
Frequently asked questions
Where is my recipe saved?
Only in local storage in this browser. There is no account, upload or cross-device synchronization. Clearing browser data removes the saved recipe.
Does scaling change the units?
No. The recipe scaler preserves each ingredient unit. Use the separate ingredient converter when you need a volume-to-weight estimate.
Can I use the pan multiplier to calculate baking time?
No. Pan material, shape, oven behavior and the recipe affect baking. The multiplier compares batter volume at equal depth only.
